We are a homeschooling family of six and we love that farming allows us the opportunity to be with our kids as much as possible. With family being of utmost importance to us, our mission is to gather family, friends, and community together. What better way to bond than over a good quality meal? While we all lead such busy, disconnected lives, our hope is that people will come together and fellowship with one another remembering the importance of connection to our loved ones.

Welcome to Makarios Acres Farm! "Makarios" (muh·kaa·ree·ows) is a Greek word meaning blessed or content with what you have. We pasture and woodland raise quality meat here in Buckley, WA. We're glad you have found us and we're excited to share our farm with you!
Our Products & Our Process
We provide quality pasture and woodland raised pork and beef. Our commitment to quality led us to raise heritage pork, which are known for their dark, marbled, tender and flavorful meat - it’s like nothing you would try in the grocery store which is exactly what got us hooked. We love the quality and consistency these hogs offer. We also offer grass-fed and finished beef throughout the year that is bred and raised right here in WA. Chicken is available seasonally, usually end of Summer or early Fall. We provide shares of our animals, bundles and subscriptions to suit your needs.
